There are some people who, for a layered collection of reasons, find themselves invisible to their own communities. As a result these people can often be clumsily damaged, disadvantaged or ignored. While ending invisibility is not as simple as just allowing their story to be heard, STORYTELLING, in many different forms, can be the first step towards the protective safety of being a visible part of the community. It's harder to hurt someone if you know their story.

Invisible Stories is a Big hART project linking artists with people to create vignettes into individual worlds, that give layers and context to their reality.
